While the third quarter revenues were not what we might have hoped for, it is important not to feel overly discouraged. God has provided Emmanuel with the finances we needed until now and we can trust that He will continue to provide what we need as long as we are moving forward with Him to accomplish His purpose for Emmanuel.
As you know, we have a short term solution for our immediate needs. Since the beginning of April, we have access to our Line of Credit that can be utilized as needed when expenses exceed our revenues. Unfortunately, using the Line of Credit also means that EBC is incurring debt that will have to be repaid. Until we are in a position to pay off this debt, we will be paying interest on the amount we owe. Ultimately, increased donations, or obtaining other sources of revenue, are absolutely necessary for the long term viability of our church.
There is no doubt that Emmanuel has many dedicated people in our congregation who believe in our future and give time and money as God has enabled and directed them.
